Designed at Dinamo by Johannes Breyer and Fabian Harb with Andree Paat, ABC Maxi references the underlying skeleton of Josef Müller-Brockmann's 1958 CWS wordmark and the 1981 Swatch logo, reinterpreting Swiss International Style forms through a variable axis that runs from Hairline to Black. Rather than a conventional italic, the family offers two stylistic registers — Round and Sharp — each available in proportional and monospaced versions, giving users four distinct subfamilies. The variable font technology allows subtle shape manipulation that shifts the overall tone, making it equally suited to branding, editorial and screen work.
