Diatype Rounded specimen from Dinamo Typefaces

A rounded Neo-grotesque with an intentionally mechanical warmth, extended into mono and semi-mono variants across eight weights.

About

Built on Swiss Neo-grotesque bones, each letterform has been individually buffered to produce terminals that read as though engraved with a single continuous tool stroke. The family spans eight weights from Thin to Ultra with matching italics, and branches into Diatype Rounded Mono and Semi Mono for tabular and coding contexts. Numerous OpenType alternates including capital G, lowercase a, q, t and R allow fine-tuning of the tone from clean to slightly playful.

Classification

Rooted in the Swiss Neo-grotesque tradition, Diatype Rounded applies uniform terminal rounding that gives the genre an approachable, mechanical quality rather than the usual clinical neutrality.
