Designed by Robert Janes and spaced by Igino Marini, Gramercy draws from F.H. Ernst Schneidler's Amalthea (1956) as its primary reference, translating that influence into overhanging details and flared strokes where another typeface would use ball terminals. The family runs across Standard, Fine and Display subfamilies, each covering eight weights from Thin to Super with corresponding italics and uppercase swashes. Variable font files allow continuous movement across both the contrast and weight axes, with Latin, Cyrillic and Greek script support throughout.
