Pelikan
Dinamo Typefaces · Fabian Harb, Fabiola Mejía

A raw, blunt grotesque from Dinamo with a built-in unicase feature that sets uppercase and lowercase letters to the same height, reviving a short-lived 1970s typographic experiment.
About
Designed by Fabian Harb and Fabiola Mejía at Dinamo, Pelikan carries an unusually large x-height and an unpolished character that sets it apart from refined grotesques. Its two unicase stylistic sets offer distinct modes: one solid and text-friendly, the other playfully jumbled. The family spans five widths including Condensed, Extended, Mono and Semi Mono, each with eight weights and matching italics, with Latin, Greek and Cyrillic coverage.
Classification
A blunt, unpolished sans-serif with an unusually large x-height and raw geometric qualities that place it firmly in the grotesque tradition, distinguished by its built-in unicase feature.
