Prophet specimen from Dinamo Typefaces

A humanist sans by Dinamo co-founders Johannes Breyer and Fabian Harb, drawing on Joseph Churchward's Georgina to marry calligraphic curves with a clean, machine-like structure.

About

Released in 2016, Prophet was the first typeface Breyer and Harb worked on together, making it something of a founding document for Dinamo as a studio. Six weights from Thin to Extrabold each carry a corresponding italic, with a variable font also available. The character set spans Latin Extended and Greek, and features include alternate lowercase 'a' and tabular figures. Seen in use across editorial, art publishing and independent fashion contexts.

Classification

Prophet bridges calligraphic warmth drawn from Joseph Churchward's Georgina with a clean, mechanical structure, placing it firmly in the humanist sans category with a distinctive hand-influenced quality.
