Avantt
Displaay Type Foundry · Martin Vacha · 2020

A geometric grotesque by Martin Vacha drawn from Prague's Bubenska 1 functionalist signage, with titling alternates for narrower caps.
About
A geometric sans by Martin Vacha first sketched in November 2020 and released February 2021. Eight weights run from Thin to Black with matching italics, sixteen styles total, plus a two-axis variable cut on Weight and Slant. Glyph construction echoes stairway bannisters and railings from the original signage commission. Titling Alternates substitute selected uppercase letters in narrower widths for headline variety.
