Post began as an experimental interpretation of Courier where the stroke variation was determined entirely by pixel misalignment rather than calligraphic convention. Despite its glitch-derived aesthetic, the typeface remains legible at smaller sizes, a property that prompted further research into readability by its designer Viktor.
