Regnio takes the angular drama of Renaissance blackletter and smooths it into a more approachable single-weight display font. Ligature support is generous, including discretionary pairs such as THE, EA and LA, and stylistic alternates offer variation on key characters. The extended Latin character set makes it workable across multiple Western European languages, though its weight range limits it to headline and logotype use.
Classification
