Route 159

A screen-oriented sans-serif from Dot Colon, developed as a webfont with open counters for improved legibility at small sizes.
About
Developed by Dot Colon as their own webfont, Route 159 builds on the studio's experience with Vegur and Aileron to prioritise on-screen readability. Letterforms such as b, d, p and q are drawn with wider internal counters to resist filling in at small display sizes. Five weights from UltraLight to Heavy are included alongside an italic, and the font is released under the SIL Open Font Licence.
Classification
A screen-oriented sans-serif with open counters and legibility-focused letterform decisions, placing it in the humanist sans tradition rather than geometric or grotesque.
