Gigalypse specimen from Dunwich Type

A single-weight square sans drawn from superellipse geometry, balancing geometric rigidity with softened corners for heavy display use.

About

Designed by James Puckett, Gigalypse is built on a squircle foundation, a square form with no straight lines, giving it an unusual tension between rigidity and warmth. The heavy weight and square proportions lend a futuristic, modernist quality, while the curved sides and rounded corners prevent it feeling cold or mechanical. Available through Adobe Fonts and I Love Typography, it is designed as a one-weight workhorse suited to any setting where bold display type is required.

Classification

A single-weight square sans built from superellipse geometry; the squircle construction and heavy weight place it firmly in geometric display territory.
