displayindustrial sansitalic
Ironstrike specimen from Dunwich Type

A constructivist-inspired industrial sans in seven weights with a steep 17.5° italic and a matching 14-font stencil family for display use.

About

Ironstrike takes its cues from Russian constructivist propaganda lettering and industrial alphabets, using rigid shapes, modular forms and tall lowercase proportions to suggest strength and mechanical precision. Seven weights from light to ultra each carry a matching italic at an emphatic 17.5° slant, while a separate 14-font stencil family extends the range into full display territory. OpenType tabular figures and arbitrary fractions are included, and language support spans over 130 languages.

Classification

Ironstrike draws directly from industrial and Russian constructivist lettering traditions, with rigid modular forms, minimal curves, and tall lowercase letters that place it firmly in the display/industrial sans category.
