Relic takes gravestone inscription as its structural model for the upright weights and channels Victorian antique types into a sharp, heavily slanted brush italic. Three styles span two scripts directly — Canonic and Demotic cover Latin and Cyrillic, while a dedicated Arabic style supports Farsi, Kurdish and Urdu. The paleo-modernist framing, referencing desiccated monuments and ruin paintings, gives the family a deliberate archaeological severity suited to editorial titles and cultural identity work.
