Originating from a study of an old rack railway metal plate, the design translates mechanical engraving marks into a systematic vocabulary of horizontal and vertical cuts across swollen, rounded letters. The dark weight presses the ink-trap principle to breaking point, creating a tense interplay between open counters and tight incisions. Letters stack closely for a dense, compact presence suited to short-run headline and screen display work.
