Parabole Text specimen from ECAL Typefaces

A Neo-grotesque text companion to an experimental display face whose counters and stems are inverted to create a continuous-line, inside-out letterform.

About

Parabole exists in two cuts: a workable Neo-grotesque Text face and a Display variant whose forms are produced by flipping counters and stems, so each letter can be traced with a single unbroken line. At small sizes the Display reads with a pixel-like quality; at large sizes it presents a layered optical effect. The Text cut is designed to run alongside the Display or independently for longer passages.

Classification

The Text cut is described as a Neo-grotesque companion to the experimental Display face, functioning as a conventional sans-serif for longer text settings.
