Constructed from the simple, economic strokes that masking tape allows, Sticky carries the energy of sign painting and Brazilian pichação lettering into a digital typeface. Multiple ligatures and automatic letter alternates help create the tight spacing and rhythmic flow typical of hand-applied tape lettering. Suited to headlines and short-form copy where a raw, gestural quality is wanted without sacrificing legibility.
