About
Each of the ten sub-families covers a distinct script — from Bangla and Devanagari to Gurmukhi and Odia — while sharing a visual grammar of sharp terminals and tapered joineries that holds across scripts. Two variable axes covering weight and width yield 40 interpolatable styles per script, stretching from compact capsular forms at the condensed extreme to broad, open letterforms at the wide end. The bold, condensed end of the design space is particularly suited to headlines and wordmarks, while the middle range functions quietly as text.
