Baloo 2 extends the original Baloo into a five-weight family running from Book to Heavy, allowing the design's characteristic bounce to operate at smaller sizes without losing its personality. Each weight is drawn across eleven scripts including Devanagari, Gurmukhi, Bangla, Odia, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Latin, making it one of the more expansive libre multiscript families available. The lighter weights pull the design into running text territory while the heavier cuts remain suited to headlines and packaging.
