Released by ETC Typefaces in 2018, Gluten is built around exaggerated curves and a buoyant personality that the designers maintained across nine weights from Thin to Black. Alongside standard italics, it includes reverse italics for additional tilt, with the slant axis variable so type can lean forward, sit upright or lean back. Available as static desktop and web fonts as well as a single variable font file, and distributed freely under the SIL Open Font License via Google Fonts and GitHub.
