A high-contrast Didone display family in eight styles, ranging from a base cut to an extreme Monster variant designed to push counterforms and stroke contrast to their limits.
About
Built around the excess of Didot, the family offers two optical grades: Poster for large sizes and Poster Display for even larger settings where increased contrast reads at a distance. Each grade comes in Regular and Monster cuts, the latter described as a virtuoso exercise in counterforms, with italics throughout. Eight styles in total make the family versatile across poster, editorial and titling contexts that demand high drama.
Classification
Described explicitly as a recreation of Didot excess, with extreme contrast between thick and thin strokes characteristic of the Didone classification. The Monster cuts push contrast to virtuosic extremes for large-scale display use.
