F37 Caslon
F37 Foundry · Rick Banks

F37's display reworking of William Caslon I's eighteenth century serif, with a Condensed companion and matching italics.
About
A display weight Caslon family of sixteen styles. Four weights run from Regular to ExtraBold with matching italics, and a Condensed cut runs across the same four weights and italics for tighter measures. Sits alongside F37 Caslon Text and F37 Caslon Hairline, which extend the system into smaller text settings and a hairline display register. Useful in fashion, editorial and luxury identity work where you want a recognisable Caslon voice without the dated contours of the original.
Classification
F37 describe F37 Caslon as their personal take on a stone-cold classic. The family is a contemporary reworking of William Caslon I's eighteenth century old-style serif, drawn with display proportions and a Condensed companion.
