A trio of SVG bitmap colour fonts by Ralf Herrmann, recreating the ink-on-paper texture of blackletter letterpress printing using the Deutschmeister typeface family as source material.
About
Built on the Deutschmeister family, first released in 1927, the set includes three styles: Alte Farbmeister drawn from the original design, and two versions of Neue Farbmeister derived from the woodtype bold condensed cut. The colour fonts render as genuine bitmap letterpress impressions, with blue or white ink variants that can be retinted in Photoshop or any app supporting SVG and SBIX colour font formats. A bonus set of 40 high-resolution letterpress workshop PNGs accompanies the complete purchase.
