Built as a companion to FDI Lettograph, FDI Kromograph comes in two distinct subfamilies: Kromograph A uses five layers to create a 3D effect, while Kromograph B uses three layers with a colour-change effect triggered by the contextual alternates feature. Each subfamily ships with ten predefined colour palettes and is available as both OpenType SVG and COLR/CPAL fonts, allowing colour overrides via CSS. Coverage is Western Latin with contextual alternates for word-initial and word-final positions.
