Developed as a custom typeface for Ottopapax, a collective of designers working at the intersection of object and graphic design, Ottomono draws its character from the same logic as the cardboard product it accompanies: sturdy, simple forms produced by mechanical processes. The letterforms carry an industrial directness while remaining legible and familiar. Released through Feedtype, it sits comfortably in contexts where a no-nonsense monospaced voice is needed.
