Originally released in 2017, Crisol received a revised Poster version in 2023 that shares the geometric principles of Futura Black and Braggadocio while replacing circular terminals with triangular ones for greater formal consistency across the family. Six width variants run from Wide to XXX Condensed, giving the family unusual range for a stencil face. Diacritics are drawn to match the thinner strokes rather than the overall weight, which aids tight-leaded all-caps setting and produces dense, texturally active typographic blocks.
