Developed from close study of historical European grotesques found in late 19th-century posters and printed ephemera, the family introduces subtle humanistic inflections through varied curve speeds on the interior and exterior of letterforms. The core Grotzec Condensed family spans eight weights from Thin to Black with matching italics, while two additional sub-families extend the range: Grotzec X Condensed in three extreme-condensed black styles and Grotzec Poster in four widths optimised for very large sizes. The collection totals 23 styles across the full range.
