Drumnik
Fontfabric · Stopan, Plamen Motev, Stefan Yatanski, Mirela Belcheva · 2022

A Bulgarian-rooted display serif released on the Day of the Slavonic Alphabet, offered in clean and hand-textured variants drawn from traditional Slavic calligraphy.
About
Designed by four collaborators including Bulgarian bookbinder Stopan, whose hand-lettered scripts provided the source material, Drumnik blends calligraphic Slavic letterforms with digital construction. It comes in two styles — a clean version and a richly textured one — giving designers a straightforward way to dial up or down the handcrafted quality. Over 640 glyphs cover Extended Latin and Cyrillic, with OpenType features including double-story ligatures and stylistic alternates for expressive display use.
Classification
A vintage-inspired display serif drawing on Bulgarian hand-lettered Slavic calligraphy, with texture and calligraphic stroke contrast placing it firmly in the display serif category rather than a text serif tradition.
