Guka
Fontfabric · Svetoslav Simov, Trifon Andreev, Vika Usmanova · 2026

A Clarendon-inspired slab serif with thick geometrical terminals and an industrial character, available in nine weights with matching italics and variable fonts.
About
Drawing on the Clarendon and Ionic tradition, Guka replaces the genre's classic drops with thick geometric terminals, most visible in the C, G and S, while horizontal endings on the f and j reinforce its sculptural, industrial tone. The family spans nine weights from Thin to Black, each with a matching italic, plus variable font files for both upright and italic axes. Intended for branding, packaging, editorial and poster work where a slab needs personality without looking historically pastiche.
Classification
Guka is rooted in the Clarendon and Ionic slab serif tradition, distinguished by thick geometrical terminals in place of classic Clarendon drops, giving it an industrial character rather than a Victorian one.
