Mixa
Fontfabric · Ani Dimitrova · 2016

A neo-grotesque with a slanted script character built into the lowercase, creating a dual all-caps/mixed-case personality across eight weights.
About
Designed by Ani Dimitrova and released in 2016, Mixa uses a neo-grotesque skeleton as its base while infusing the lowercase with a subtle slanted script quality, so all-caps settings read clean and clinical while mixed-case reveals a handwritten warmth. The eight weights from Thin to Black give it range across branding, packaging and editorial contexts. OpenType features include ligatures, stylistic alternates and discretionary ligatures, with coverage across Extended Latin and Cyrillic.
Classification
Mixa is built on a neo-grotesque sans-serif structure, but its lowercase letters incorporate a slanted script quality, creating a dual personality between all-caps clarity and expressive handwritten forms.
