Nexa specimen from Fontfabric

A circle-based geometric sans from Fontfabric, spanning 36 styles across a main display subfamily and a text-optimised variant with looser spacing.

About

Designed by Svetoslav Simov and released in 2012, Nexa built its reputation on clean geometric construction and well-optimised kerning suited to branding, UI and advertising. The family runs nine weights from Thin to Black with matching italics, and a dedicated Nexa Text subfamily widens the internal spacing for longer-form reading. OpenType features include small caps, tabular figures, fractions and a stylistic set offering squared stroke alternates for display use, with Cyrillic and Extended Latin covering over 130 languages.

Classification

Nexa is explicitly circle-based with clean geometric forms and low contrast, placing it squarely in the geometric sans-serif tradition alongside faces like Gotham and Avenir.
