FF Dax was designed by Hans Reichel and released through FontFont between 1995 and 1997. Its spurless terminal construction — strokes that end without any decorative flare — gives it a modernist abstraction while the humanist proportions keep it readable. UPS adopted a modified version as UPS Sans in 2003. Reichel refined the design in 2005, producing FF Daxline as a cleaner text-oriented version.
