A considered humanist sans from Abbink, Schwartz and van der Laan — 18 styles with a large x-height designed for demanding text environments.

About

FF Kievit was completed in 2001 after development began in 1995, designed by Mike Abbink, Christian Schwartz and Paul van der Laan. It draws on the legibility principles of Frutiger and Univers while adding humanist warmth from classic serifed traditions. True italics, small caps and text figures across nine weights make it well-equipped for complex publication design. It is used by Autodesk and the University of California.

Classification
