Azeret Mono
Fontshare · Displaay, Martin Vácha, Daniel Quisek · 2022

A monospaced typeface from Displaay drawing on OCR fonts and nineties operating system aesthetics, released as open source through Fontshare.
About
Designed by Displaay, Martin Vácha and Daniel Quisek, Azeret Mono is rooted in an exploration of OCR typefaces, retro operating systems and screen interfaces. The result is a mono-linear monospaced family with a character that sits somewhere between utilitarian and personality-driven, suited to coding environments and UI work. Eighteen static styles span Thin to Black with matching italics, and two variable fonts cover the weight axis.
Classification
A mono-linear monospaced typeface with roots in OCR fonts and operating system interfaces; the fixed-pitch spacing and sans construction place it firmly in the mono category.
