Bonny
Fontshare · Barbara Bigosinska · 2021

A condensed display serif by Barbara Bigosinska with high stroke contrast, flourished terminals and deliberately caricatured uppercase proportions.
About
Designed by Barbara Bigosinska and released through Indian Type Foundry, Bonny is built for large-scale display use where its details can breathe. The letterforms are strikingly condensed with marked stroke contrast, and thin strokes frequently end in calligraphic flourishes that echo the short, delicate serifs. Uppercase letters such as 'B', 'E' and 'R' are intentionally top-heavy, lending the face an exuberant quality suited to greeting cards, packaging and poster work. Oldstyle numerals, 13 f-ligatures and a contextual alternate 'j' round out a glyph set covering 135 languages.
Classification
A highly condensed display serif with strong stroke contrast, flourished terminals and exaggerated proportions typical of decorative display typefaces rather than text serifs.
