Two conceptual display cuts from ITF's Kohinoor Multiscript lineage: One, claimed as the world's thinnest retail font at a single-unit stroke width, and Zero, a stroke-skeleton tool for designers to apply their own outlines.
About
Kohinoor One pushes stroke weight to its absolute minimum at one unit thick, making it a specimen of extreme hairline design within ITF's long-running Kohinoor Multiscript superfamily. Kohinoor Zero works differently: its glyphs are rendered as closed outlines that simulate single strokes, intended to be converted to paths and stripped below the descender line so designers can apply custom brushes or outlines in Illustrator or InDesign. The concept was first presented at TypeCon 2010 by Satya Rajpurohit, giving these two idiosyncratic cuts a longer development history than most display releases.
Classification
Classified as Display by the foundry; the family comprises two conceptual extremes, a hairline-stroke font and a single-stroke skeleton font, both rooted in a geometric humanist sans structure intended for headlines and lettering rather than body text.
