Designed by TypeTogether for Google Play Books, Literata exists in two versions — one for screen-based ebooks and one for print — and this is the print release. Sixteen static styles span Extra Light to Black with matching italics, alongside two variable fonts covering weight and its italic counterpart. With 1,761 glyphs and an open-source licence, it is a capable choice for long-form text work where legibility and weight range matter.
