About
Panchang is built around unusually wide letterforms that verge on panoramic, giving it a distinctly industrial character suited to posters, editorial headlines and magazine covers. Lowercase ascenders sit taller than the capitals, and a tall x-height keeps the design open at large sizes. Most terminals end on horizontal or vertical strokes for a clean, technical look, though selective diagonal cuts on letters such as 'C', 'S' and 'g' prevent monotony, and the single-storey 'a' and 'g' add a contemporary touch.
