About
Five weights from Light to Black, all slanted and non-connecting, with stroke contrast that builds from modest in Light to dramatic in Black. Single-storey 'a' and 'g', a short x-height, and cap height aligned with ascenders give it a consistent lettering-script rhythm across the range. A variable font is included alongside the five static styles, and the family covers 135 languages across Latin Extended scripts.
Classification
Though categorised as Display by Fontshare, Sharpie draws directly from sign-painting and marker lettering traditions, with angular, slanted letterforms and strong stroke contrast that place it firmly in informal script-influenced display territory.
