Striper
Fontshare · Jitka Janečková · 2021

A decorative sans serif from Indian Type Foundry in which every straight stroke is replaced with a zebra-stripe pattern, intended for large-size headline use.
About
Designed by Jitka Janečková, Striper swaps the straight horizontal, vertical and diagonal strokes of a conventional sans serif for a repeating stripe motif, giving single words or short headlines a distinctive hand-crafted ornamental quality. The font ships with two alternate forms per character via OpenType Stylistic Sets: the first offers different skeletal shapes and alternative stripe placements, while the second provides significantly wider letterforms that function almost as a second extended variant within the same file. The stripes are sized for display use, and the effect loses legibility at small sizes.
Classification
Categorised as Display by the foundry; Striper is a decorative sans serif where straight strokes are replaced with zebra-stripe patterns, making it unsuitable for text use and firmly ornamental in character.
