Stempel A.G.'s Reform-Grotesk, first produced around 1904 through the foundry's pioneering mechanical punch-cutting processes, this revival also incorporates the typeface's later incarnation as Information. The family spans Thin through Bold with matching italics and a Semi Extended cut, giving it range across both text and display settings. Forgotten Shapes situates the release within a detailed account of early 20th-century German type production, tracing the design through anonymous collaboration, acquisition and formal revision over several decades.
