About
Taking its cues from a mail order advertisement set in a vintage cut of Futura Display, Bearklaw is not a straight revival but a creative synthesis of pre-digital geometric systems. The family runs from Medium to Black with matching italics, and adds two bonus styles: Cub, a wider cut suited to smaller sizes, and Printed, a textured variant. Stylistic alternates and historical forms give designers room to dial in character without leaving the family.
Classification
Inspired by Futura Display and pre-digital geometric cuts, Bearklaw is a display-oriented geometric sans built for large sizes, with a wider 'Cub' cut and a distressed 'Printed' variant extending its expressive range.
