Route Sans specimen from Fort Foundry

A geometric sans in 9 weights with matching italics, derived from the Digiset tradition and built for editorial, branding and wayfinding work.

About

An offshoot of Fort Foundry's Scenic Sans, Route Sans takes the geometric strand of the early digital typeface Digiset as its reference point, with a small set of alternate letters giving it a distinctly contemporary character. Eighteen static styles run from Thin to Black with matching italics, accompanied by a variable version. The family is positioned for sustained use across editorial, branding, wayfinding and information design.

Classification

Route Sans is described as taking a geometric approach derived from Digiset's geometric N-style variants, distinguishing it from its grotesk-leaning sibling Scenic Sans through a handful of alternate letterforms.
