About
Named after the olivine mineral found in Lanzarote's lava fields, Peridot PE is a humanist sans-serif system built across six widths from Compressed to Extended, each with ten weights and matching italics. Latin was designed by Pria Ravichandran and Kostas Bartsokas, with Cyrillic and Greek by Bartsokas alone, covering localised variants and typographic niceties including discretionary ligatures, fractions and tabular currencies. The family won an Award of Excellence at Communication Arts Typography Competition 2024 and an original typeface award at the Greek Communication Design Awards 2023.
