System Mono

A monospaced neo-grotesque with 13 weights that introduces slab serifs to give the fixed-width format a more distinct character.
About
Part of Frost's System family, this mono cut departs from the proportional grotesque by adding slab serifs and tighter curves to cope with the restrictions of fixed-width spacing. The weight range runs from Skeleton to Black, giving it unusual depth for a monospaced face and allowing it to hold up from display headings down to small body text. The glyph set exceeds 750 characters, covering extended Latin, multiple numeral styles, symbols, arrows and case-sensitive forms.
Classification
A monospaced neo-grotesque with slab serif details introduced to distinguish it within the constraints of fixed-width spacing, making it a hybrid mono rather than a pure grotesque.
