Geetype specimen from G-Type

A single-weight art deco display face rooted in Cassandre's 1920s cigarette pack lettering, with rounded, voluptuous curves suited to vintage poster work.

About

Drawn from a piece of lettering attributed to A.M. Cassandre, Geetype brings a hand-crafted, golden-era quality to display settings. Its buxom forms evoke the graphic sensibility of 1920s and 30s poster campaigns, with a free-flowing rhythm that works well at large sizes. Extended Latin coverage spans West European, Central and East European, and Baltic and Turkish character sets, with OpenType features including ligatures, fractions, ordinals and superiors.

Classification
