An alternate-character variant of Houschka Rounded, swapping arched A and W for straight versions whilst retaining the full rounded geometric personality of the original.
About
Houschka Rounded Alt is identical to the parent Houschka Rounded family in every respect except that straight-sided A and W characters are set as the default, with the arched originals remaining accessible via OpenType alternates. Inspired by the rounded lettering above an old Austrian sweet shop in Salzburg once owned by Georg Houschka, the family carries 12 styles with extended Latin and Cyrillic coverage across over 50 languages. The OpenType feature set is generous, including three stylistic sets, small caps, four sets of numerals, ligatures and fractions — used commercially by brands such as Arla and the National Trust.
Classification
A soft-cornered linear sans with rounded terminals, placing it firmly in the geometric sans tradition; the rounded stroke endings distinguish it from a strict grotesque or humanist classification.
