Jekyll & Hyde specimen from G-Type

A dual-personality sans from Nick Cooke that shifts between a neo-humanist default and a grotesque alternate set via OpenType stylistic sets.

About

Jekyll & Hyde packages two distinct sans-serif personalities into one family: the default Jekyll cut is neo-humanist in character, while switching to Style Set 1 reveals Hyde, a more conventional grotesque. The family spans three widths and multiple weights, with variable font files bundled into the family volumes, offering two axes for weight and width. An extended Latin character set covers West, Central and East European languages along with Baltics and Turkish, with small caps, alternates and multiple stylistic sets included.

Classification

Described by the foundry as a neo-humanist sans in its default form (Jekyll), with a grotesque variant accessible via Style Set 1 (Hyde), placing it firmly in the humanist sans tradition with grotesque alternates.
