A 32-style geometric sans superfamily split into two subfamilies, each reinterpreting Rudolph Koch's Kabel through a small set of alternate glyphs.
About
Radion A and Radion B share the same weight range, from Thin to Black with italics throughout, but differ in a handful of key characters including the G, a, e, g, w and 2. The split gives designers two tonal registers from the same geometric skeleton, one closer to Koch's expressive originals, the other a contemporary recasting. OpenType features include titling alternates, oldstyle and tabular figures, and a slashed zero.
Classification
Radion is explicitly positioned within the geometric sans tradition, drawing on Rudolph Koch's Kabel as its primary reference. The characteristic single-storey alternates and geometric construction confirm the subcategory.
