Cascadia Mono
Google Fonts · Aaron Bell · 2019

The ligature-free companion to Cascadia Code, offering the same clean humanist design for coding environments that do not support ligatures.
About
Cascadia Mono provides the same robust character set and legible proportions as Cascadia Code but strips out the programming ligatures, making it suitable for terminals and editors where ligature rendering is problematic. Its consistent stroke weight and open apertures aid readability in small sizes and on lower-resolution screens. Multilingual support across Arabic, Cyrillic, and braille gives it practical reach beyond Latin-only environments.
Classification
The dedicated monospaced variant of Cascadia Code, sharing its humanist design language and multilingual support but without programming ligatures. Intended for contexts where ligatures are unsupported or undesired.
