Cascadia Mono provides the same robust character set and legible proportions as Cascadia Code but strips out the programming ligatures, making it suitable for terminals and editors where ligature rendering is problematic. Its consistent stroke weight and open apertures aid readability in small sizes and on lower-resolution screens. Multilingual support across Arabic, Cyrillic, and braille gives it practical reach beyond Latin-only environments.
