Codystar's defining feature is its decorative star-shaped counter fills and hairline-thin strokes, which combine to create an immediately recognisable retro-neon aesthetic. It is unabashedly a one-trick face, best deployed in large-scale display contexts — posters, signage, or event branding — where the novelty reads as intentional style rather than limitation. At small sizes or in running text it becomes entirely illegible.
