DM Sans
Google Fonts · Colophon Foundry · 2019

A versatile geometric sans with carefully optically corrected letterforms, built from the ground up for digital screen legibility.
About
DM Sans was commissioned by Google and designed by Colophon Foundry as a core typeface for Google's marketing and product communications. Its geometric structure is tempered by subtle humanist adjustments that prevent the sterility sometimes found in pure geometric designs. With nine weights and strong Latin Extended coverage, it functions equally well as a UI typeface, editorial body font, or branding typeface across both print and screen.
Classification
DM Sans is a low-contrast geometric sans-serif with optically adjusted letterforms designed for strong legibility at small sizes on digital screens. Its wide range of nine weights from Thin to Black gives it considerable versatility across interface and editorial applications.
